Joi is Craig's girlfriend (now ex-girlfriend) during the Friday film.

Who always mistakenly thinks that Craig is cheating on her whenever a woman is near Craig, such as Debbie and Felisha.
Appearance[]
Joi has a blonde box braids hairstyle. She wears a black-and-white striped top that reveals her midriff, silver hoop earrings, and denim short shorts. She also has a belly button piercing.
Friday (1995)[]
Craig's mother answers the phone and calls Craig to the phone. As he answers, Joi doesn't even greet him and directly asks, in her room with a man laying beside her. Craig claims he didn't go to the show last night, and she claims he's lying. She claims one of her relatives saw him there with some girl and she demanded to know who she was. Craig continues to deny, and Joi says when she catches the girl he was with, she's going to beat her up.
She continues to call and whang up the phone during the morning while Betty is there, making angry, and prompting her to tell her son that she doesn't like her disrespecting her house and to stop or else she is going to call the authorities and she will be in trouble. She continues call and hang up into the afternoon while she is gone and no one is inside their house.
She later comes by as Craig is escorting Debbie out of his house arising deep suspicion in Joi. Joi gets dramatic in her speech as Debbie passes by saying, "Uh-uh! Hell no! Who is that bitch?!" Craig argues back and tells her to get in the house. They apparently reconcile and she calms down. He escorts her out to her car and he attempts to sweet talk her into giving him $200 to clear him and Smokey with Big Worm. Just as she was about to give him money, Felisha comes along behind him demanding his attention making Joi angry jealous and angry at him once again. She has a jealous angry tirade and drives off without giving him any money.
Craig finally breaks up with Joi at the end of the movie, in favor of Debbie.
